New Balance: A 21 day personal challenge consisting of yoga, meditation, and positive self- affirmations..

I am back with another personal challenge. As this school year is coming to an end, and I find myself stressed with trying to balance my personal health with finals, and everything in between, I have decided that it is time for me to challenge myself again. With this challenge, I will focus on practicing yoga, meditation, and positive self- affirmations. Statistics show that it only takes 21 days to form a habit. Which is why I have decided to make this a 21 day personal challenge. You all know that mental health plays a big factor in every challenge that I decide to do. As a mental health advocate, I encourage natural practices, to heal. Mental health can simply mean taking time out to take care of your self spiritually, mentally and physically, it’s very important. With this being my last week of classes and being in Ohio, I plan on continuing this personal challenge amongst my return to Flint, Michigan, in other words home.

21 Day Personal Challenge:

Practice yoga for a minimum of 20 minutes every morning and or evening. 

Complete a 10 minute meditation/breathing exercise every morning before starting my day.

Write a positive self-affirmation to myself everyday, and read the affirmation aloud to myself, internalizing it.

This challenge is very simple, it will take self- discipline, and determination. Feel free to join me on this 21 day personal challenge. I will give an update on how I am doing with this challenge, via social media and my blog.
